Most people have an inherent connection to music. The use of music in therapy practice can often be a meaningful, natural gateway to support a person's journey. This CEU offering provides considerations and examples of incorporating music into clinical practice, informed by best practices in music therapy, music research, and cultural healing traditions.

Offering 1 hour, 2 hour, or 3 hour increments, in person or virtual.

For fellow professionals who would like pay-what-you-can supervision, support, and collaboration from a trauma-informed, psychosocial, and liberatory lens.


Themes of support may include:

  • Professional music therapists (group and individual) looking to examine anti-oppressive orientations, compassion fatigue, and/or case consultation for teens, adults, older adults, and hospice/palliative care.
     

  • Professional non-music therapists who would like some more individualized support in incorporating music into case-specific spaces.

Music Considerations for Self-Care

One-off virtual and in-person workshops that incorporate education around music for wellbeing and hands-on music experiences to encourage intentional music experiences in day-to-day coping.

This workshop can be easily tailored to fit any milieu.
